Tomatoes are coming along.  The last photo was taken on 21st April.  What a difference in only six weeks.

The sweetcorn, french beans and patty pan squash.  I took this photo at 9:30 at night and can’t decide if the photo is better with or without the flash

I’ve started the raised beds on plot 29.  I don’t want to think how many more to go!  My aim is to do two per weekend but this could be two per month knowing me!

-Mr

Some gratuitous chick photos. They are 10 weeks old now.

Soapwort is in full flower.  Going to take some tomorrow and add it to a spray bottle full of water and give it a good shake.  What I’ll have then is a completely organic soapy spray to attack the black fly that is munching my broad beans!

-Mr

Broad beans are in full flower.  Hopefully should get a good crop this year.  The runners, although they had a touch of wind burn are now really starting to motor.

-Mr

Dreaded black fly!  The ants are farming them too.  A spray with some soapy water tomorrow I think.

-Mr

The chicken run now has a net over the top to keep the cats out.

These chick pics were taken last week.  They are now 10 weeks old.

The early spuds on plot 29 are really kicking off.  Should be ready to start pulling at the end of this month.
